Dzojchen (pronounced Doh-jen), founded in 2009, based in both Singapore and New York, is the inspiration of its owner and designer Chelsea Scott-Blackhall.

With its specialty in denim, leatherwear, and bespoke tailored garments, it is a brand rooted in the practical and philosophical influences of such contrasting cultures as Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Middle East, England and U.S.A.

The Dzojchen customer is someone who understands the concept of Dzojchen Individuality, finds value in its philosophy, and appreciates the relaxed exclusivity, detailed simplicity and contemporary classic style of its products.

Sourcing woven Selvage fabric from Japan, hand-selected leather pelts from the tanneries of Spain, Thread from the UK, Denim from Specialist Mills of India and the USA, Dzojchen left no corner of the globe untapped to create a perfect blend of form and function.

Dzojchen launched their first denim collection in New York during the Spring/Summer ’10 season. Tailoring bespoke and premium denim for 2 years, the line then took on its current form of a fashion house producing full Ready-To-Wear collections in 2012. A/W12 brought a new highlight to the label, premium contemporary leatherwear. Launching their S/S13 collection amidst Paris Fashion Week, Dzojchen featured items such as their signature denim pieces as well as hand tailored brocade blazers, jackets, shirts, skirts, pants shorts and accessories. Dzojchen’s AW13-14 boasts a gathering of all of its hallmark characteristics. Crafted tailoring, exclusive and premium materials, blended with raw, experimental silhouettes.

Seen on the likes of Johnny Depp, Mickey Rourke, Carmen Cass, Lenny and Zoe Kravitz and more, sold in retailers globally, and holding features in International Publications such as Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Vogue, WWD, L’Officiel and Style, Dzojchen sits in the contemporary luxury market, known for their edgy and androgynous design and high quality workmanship.
